Overall, students are typically out-going people. They enjoy the city life but what of those who need to get away? To take a break from the chaos? To find peace?

There are many student travel guides, however, these are almost always based on city hopping to London, Ibiza, Paris.
This guide book aims to fill this gap. To get students and young adults away from the hustle and bustle of city life, promoting connecting with nature to improve mental health and wellbeing.

photography

With photography playing a central role in this guidebook, I travelled across the UK to capture original drone imagery that showcases the country’s natural beauty. As a result, the majority of the visuals featured throughout the book are my own photographs.

the book

With the focus on this guide book being mental wellbeing I thought it to be helpful to include a 'check in' page.

This includes three prompts, 'todays thoughts', 'todays positives' and 'tomorrows goals'. These three prompts drive plans and aspirations for the near future as well as any feeling from the present.

This is featured after every national park with a conversation starter at the top right.
